  • The Council are seeking Casual Dryside Leisure Assistants to work across all our Leisure World Sports facilities.

Duties of the role

  • As an essential member of the Leisure World team, you will play a major role as part of our junior holiday programme team, which will involve delivering and supervising sports and fun activities to children during the school holidays.
  • Duties will include setting up and packing away various sports equipment, children weekend birthday parties, cleaning and assisting customers.
  • You will also assist Duty Officers and Camp Supervisors with the day-to-day operational running of the sports facilities and holiday camps.

Qualifications and skills required

  • To be successful in this role, you will need knowledge and experience of customer care, worked with adults and children, can work individually or as part of a team, be flexible, enthusiastic and show good initiative.
  • An understanding of health and safety as well as safeguarding and wellbeing will also be an advantage.
  • Knowledge of sports, games and activities as well as sports specific qualifications and first aid at work qualification would also be desirable.
