OverviewSpecialist Coating are a supplier of paints and Aerosols, primarily supplying industrial customers and spray painters, our products are sold online and through our Trade Counter.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable, motivated Warehouse Operative / Paint Mixer to join our b team. In this varied role, you'll be responsible for key warehouse operations, paint mixing, and occasional deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Order Fulfilment: Accurately pick, mix, and pack customer orders for timely delivery.
• Stock Management: Receive and check incoming stock, ensure proper storage and stock rotation, and maintain quality standards.
• Paint Mixing: Follow precise formulations to mix custom paint colours for the automotive and industrial sectors.
• Colour Matching: Learn and develop skills in colour matching using advanced spectrophotometers and manual methods.
• Customer Interaction: Provide high-quality service and support, both over the phone and face-to-face.
• Delivery Assistance: Occasionally deliver orders to local customers as needed.

• Ability to pass a colour vision test (essential for paint mixing and matching).
• A full, clean UK driving licence (essential).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £12.60-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
