Job Description :

The candidate will undertake a Level 3 Health Screener Diploma, and ultrasound training to become an accredited AAA Screening Technician. This person will have the opportunity to be part of a hard-working dedicated team that screen men in their 65th year with the aim of preventing mortality in the community. The person will use mobile ultrasound equipment to obtain images of the aorta and communicating the results with tact and discretion to the subjects. The candidate will be able to demonstrate teamwork, autonomy, attention to detail, the ability to multitask, travel to and from clinics in and around Hampshire and Isle of Wight. Undertaking tasks such as uploading and downloading clinic lists and subject AAA images, attend training sessions with the Clinical Skills Trainer, and participate in Staff and Board Meetings.
