Working hours:

Full time: Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week to be worked flexibly within our open hours.

Part-time: Monday to Friday, 16-30 hours a week to be worked flexibly within our open hours.

Mon Ami is open weekdays from 7am to 6.30pm, 51 weeks of the year.

Candidate Specification:

Our ideal candidate will be flexible, reliable and creative with a passion for Early Years and the ability to work effectively within a team. Confident communication skills with children, parents, carers and other professionals are vital to this job role. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn new skills and attend training that supports and enhances knowledge, skills and, ultimately, outcomes for the children.

Candidates MUST:

• Hold at least a Level 3 qualification in the Early Years.
• Have a good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage and be experienced with and confident in planning for children's learning development.
• Be committed to working together to provide a high-quality and homely learning environment that offers many opportunities for children, encouraging them to be creative and critical thinkers.
• Demonstrate a commitment to meeting all aspects of this job role to the highest possible standards.

The following are particularly desirable but not essential:

• Holding a valid and recognised paediatric first aid certificate and up-to-date safeguarding training.
• Previous experience with supporting children with additional needs.
• Previous experience of working in busy daycare settings.
• Higher level qualifications as well as enhanced job training such as Forest School, Elklan, SENCO, and outdoor play.
