Print Operations Team Lead - JP Morgan - Bournemouth - Onsite - PAYE
We are seeking a Print Operations Team Lead with experience managing teams and hands on experience working with a variety of print machines with preference to Xerox machines within a large regulated environment to join JP Morgan in London on an initial 6 months contract with a view to go permanent in the future.
Business Overview
As a Print Operations Team Lead in the Business Services Team, you will ensure professionalism in all aspects of customer service, providing flexible and responsive assistance to clients and colleagues. You will have a ‘can do' attitude with a flexible approach and use your own initiative to provide mail, courier and print solutions to internal clients, working as part of a team to support the DBS operation and other tasks within the management team.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight and operational management of staff. You will actively manage the team and operation to ensure work requests and volumes receive the correct manpower and processes are adhered to providing quality output without errors. The Print Operations Team Lead will be the first point of contact for the local and DBS Management team, providing regular updates and working together to escalate and manage any known or potential issues that may impact the team or operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages teams and leads by example, focusing on attendance, operational discipline, and continuous improvement measures across the operation.
- Documents in a clear and concise manner during shift handovers to maintain operational consistency across all shifts.
- Ensures quality control on the end-to-end production process, offering experienced insight into quality management procedures.
- Takes ownership of the annual review of Job Aids/Supplements and create new documents as applicable.
- Oversees production equipment usage to ensure it meets the highest standards, in line with job or user specifications.
- Manages and oversee all maintenance and repairs for production equipment.
- Monitors and control the production workflow and achievement of delivery deadlines to ensure efficient production management, ensuring all SLAs are always met.
- Controls and monitor inventory across the operation, maintaining metrics to manage wastage within the agreed tolerance for the operation.
- Manages the process and control for mail and courier responsibilities.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience working with a variety of print machines, preferably Xerox machines
- Understanding of print and automated insertion technologies in a busy production environment.
- Strong written and spoken English skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and people skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good working knowledge of key Microsoft programs and ability to analyze data.
- Experience with handling client requests/issues and managing product and service expectations.
- Organized, efficient, and self-motivated.
- Experience in managing change, process, and staff development.
Please note that this role is full time office based.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Temp to permContract length: 6 months
Pay: £180.00-£250.00 per day
