About Oakhill STC
Oakhill STC is a secure facility for up to 80 male and female young people aged between 12 and 18 years old. The young people have access to a fully equipped education centre that offers a full timetabled curriculum. They are also provided with specialist support, access to healthcare professionals and extra-curricular activities.
Job Summary

As a strategic operational manager, you'll gain diverse experiences in and out of the healthcare department. This role is ideal for someone ambitious and eager to grow and develop over time. As a key member of the team, the post holder will work closely with the Head of Healthcare to deliver a portfolio of projects. The post holder will ensure that the projects are well planned, coordinated, completed on time, within budget, and meet the project objectives.
Duties Onsite
· Maintain a portfolio of projects ensuring the agreed outcomes are achieved utilising standard project methodologies, projects may include (but not limited to)
o Quality improvement initiatives
o Process redesign
o Organisational / site development
o Larger projects (in conjunction with the Head of Healthcare)
· Create and update project documentation, including plans, risk register, logs, budget, and timelines, suitable for the project's size and complexity.
· Prepare presentations and present (or be willing to work towards presenting) project launches
· Prepare concise progress reports which are appropriate for the intended audience / recipients
·Identify and manage (with support as required) issues with appropriate and timely escalation to the relevant stakeholder
·Proactively work with stakeholders ensuring a strong positive relationship is built and maintained
·Attend project and other stakeholder meetings which may include minute taking, recording actions, with monitoring to ensure actions are completed in agreed timescales
·Support members of the project or wider team and be “hands on” (within in sphere of competence) to achieve the project objectives
· Ensure all projects are managed within our governance framework and systems
· Ensuring service delivery in line with contractual obligations
·Maintaining Business continuity (Policies and Processes in place)
· Exploring Business and Service improvement according to need, which will involve working with the Operator, NHS commissioners and Head of Healthcare
· Ensuring Compliance and also contribution and attendance at Quarterly contract reviews and Subcontractor meetings
· Maintain On-site relationships and support Head of Healthcare, acting as direct line manager
Duties Offsite
· Reporting to Executive Business Manager (direct line manager)
· Utilising Head of Clinical Operations and other Corporate Functions such as Finance, Legal and IT to service the needs of the site identified by Head of Healthcare.
· Ensuring Healthcare team and Leadership at the site are supported
· Ensure Systems and services are robust at site
·Ensuring adequate handover undertaken of roles and responsibilities from Mobilisation team, and then taking this forward to Business continuity
·The opportunity to be involved in DRPA business growth, bidding and procurement
