Job Type: Full time: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm

Location: Leighton Buzzard (Billington Road)

Hourly wage:

• £11.21 (no FLT licence - candidate would be required to obtain FLT licence upon joining Miniclipper increasing hourly wage to FLT license hourly wage)
• £12.80 (FLT licence)

Job summary:

You will be responsible for delivering safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of customer goods and products, providing customers with a fast, reliable and accurate service.

Major duties and responsibilities

• Receive and process customer stock (unload, receipt, label and put away)
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or collection according to schedule (pick, pack, wrap, label, ship
• Perform inventory controls and maintain high standards for audits
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Optimise space utilisation
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with external customers and internal stakeholders across the business
• Manage customer expectations within a timely and professional manner
• Maintain internal documentation
• Compliance with company policy
• Ability to prioritise workload and work to multiple deadlines
• Liaise and arrange special delivery instruction

Profile

• Previous experience in working in a busy warehouse environment
• A positive ‘can do' attitude and flexible in their approach to work
• Excellent attention to detail to reduce picking, packing, or despatch errors
• Work well under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual

Technical competencies

• Warehouse Management System usage and picking on handheld PDA is desirable but not essential as full training and support will be provided
• Counterbalance/VNA/Reach/PPT is desired
• Computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office
