Job Responsibility:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Trainee to join our Billingham Warehouse team!

• Location: Billingham, TS23 1LE
• Hours: 40 hours (Monday to Friday)
• Salary: Competitive

THE ROLE: A Warehouse Trainee would be expected to learn all aspects of working within a busy warehouse/yard of a builders merchant. They would be required to develop their knowledge of the building materials and best safe working practises of working in a busy warehouse/yard.

DUTIES: The successful candidate will pick and load orders for James Burrell own vehicles, serve customers and unload supplier vehicles. Full training will be provided including training on a fork lift truck.

CANDIDATE: We are looking for a well-presented individual who is enthusiastic to learn and develop their knowledge and skills. As a company we have a proven track record of developing trainees into more senior roles so this is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a long-term career and shows aptitude and commitment to the role.

In return we offer the right candidates full support and training, as well as 27 days holidays per year, a Monday to Friday working week. Starting salary will be reviewed as the successful candidate progresses.
