Preschool Room Leader – Join Our Brand-New Nursery TeamLocation: Lots for Tots Childcare – Opening SeptemberFull-time | 30 days holiday including Christmas closure

Are you an experienced and inspiring early years practitioner ready to lead a preschool room where children thrive, staff feel supported, and no two days are the same? Do you believe in providing a high-quality start to every child’s learning journey? If so, we’d love you to lead our preschool room at Lots for Tots Childcare, opening this September.

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape our nursery from day one, working alongside a supportive management team and like-minded educators who are passionate about delivering outstanding childcare.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading the day-to-day running of the preschool room
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children aged 3-5 can play, explore and learn
  • Planning and delivering a curriculum based on the EYFS that meets the individual needs of each child
  • Supporting your team through role modelling, coaching, and regular supervision
  • Building strong relationships with families and promoting effective communication
  • Carrying out observations, assessments and progress reviews for key children
  • Supporting children with additional needs through early identification and partnership working
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring high standards of care, hygiene, and safety
  • Contributing to nursery management meetings, team development, and quality improvement

What We’re Looking For:

  • A relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (or higher)
  • Previous experience leading or co-leading in an early years room (preschool preferred)
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding and inclusive practice
  • Confident in supporting staff development and reflective practice
  • A warm, approachable and motivating leader who thrives in a team environment
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
