HGV Class 2 Driver

PB Tyres (UK) LLP

PB Tyres, based on the southern outskirts of Milton Keynes are a family owned commercial tyre wholesaler and one of the UK’s largest commercial tyre casing agents. Due to business growth and success, we are looking for a HGV Class 2 Driver to join our team.

This is a permanent position working full days Monday to Friday and half day Saturdays plus break entitlement. Overnight shifts are also available.

This position is physically demanding as the role entails a lot of heavy lifting. This needs to be considered before applying.

Reporting to the Transport Manager and the Business Owner your main responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading of truck tyres and used tyre casings
• Delivering to and collecting from our customers, spread across the southern half of the UK
• Leasing with customers to plan collections
• Planning daily routes
• Upkeep of vehicles maintenance, MOT, 8 weekly etc
• General daily paperwork

The individual we are looking for must have the following qualifications and attributes:

• Full HGV2 Driving Licence
• CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Good Knowledge of UK road network
• Conscientious, reliable and flexible
• Physically fit
• Good Organisational Skills
• Work well under pressure

Please note: We are located in a remote location away from public transport routes so having your own transport is essential.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday and alternate Saturday Mornings
