Job Description :

Job OverviewWe are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all patrons and staff. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle various situations with poise. As a Door Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with licensing laws. And Venue’s entry policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor entry and exit points to ensure the safety of all individuals on the premises.
• Conduct regular patrols of the venue to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
• Utilise surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor behaviour and maintain security standards.
• Assist in managing crowd control during busy periods or events.
• Enforce venue policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.
• Provide first aid assistance when necessary and maintain a calm demeanour in emergency situations.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement when required, providing detailed reports of incidents as necessary.
• Engage with patrons to foster a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining order.

Skills

• Proficient in surveillance techniques and the operation of CCTV systems.
• Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies and practices.
• Certified in first aid, with the ability to respond effectively to medical emergencies.
• Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with staff and patrons alike.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle conflict situations professionally.
• Previous experience in Doorsupervision is essential.
