Job Description :

Stepping Stones Day Nursery (part of Naturally Curious Childcare) is recruiting for Early Years Room leader.

This position would be suitable for a Nursery Practitioner looking for the opportunity for progression, or for a someone in a Room Leader role.

Requirements:

· Minimum of level 3 NVQ or equivalent Early years and childcare

· A minimum of 1 years experience

· Safeguarding minimum level 2 (preferred)

· Paediatric first aid (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of early years practitioners, ensuring high standards are maintained.
• Develop and implement engaging environments that promote children’s development in line with EYFS.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining Paediatric First Aid certification.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment that supports children’s emotional and social development.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 – 42 per week
