Summary

We are seeking a bank night care assistant to join our team at Shetland House, our 9 bed residential and dementia care facility. In this role, you will be instrumental in assisting our residents with various support throughout the night.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
• Communicate effectively with clients and their families regarding care needs and updates.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and care provided.
• Keep on top of general cleanliness of the care home adhering to infection control policies.

Requirements

• Experience in care or a related field is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
• Ability to follow care plans accurately and provide personalized support.
• Basic IT skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.

Schedule

We are looking for someone to work on bank, assisting to pick up night shift cover for holidays and absence. The night shifts run from 8pm until 8am.
