Job Responsibility:

Job SummaryWe are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for customer service and a knack for creating a welcoming atmosphere. As a member of our bar staff, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional experience for our patrons, ensuring they enjoy their time at our establishment. This Role will additionally focus on PR and ticket sales for upcoming events and will require successful candidate to PR within the town centre and to sell tickets to upcoming events from within the premises.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in accordance with standard recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring all payments are processed efficiently.
• Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible service of alcohol, adhering to licensing laws and regulations.
• Assist in restocking supplies as needed, ensuring the bar is well-equipped for busy periods.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
• Be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions when asked to PR
• Be confident in approaching members of the public and customers and engaging with them in order to produce desired results.

Skills

• Strong public relations skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues alike.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating an approachable and friendly demeanour.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of drink recipes and cocktail preparation is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and customer service excellence.
• Knowledge of sales techniques in order to aid PR and ticket sale results.
