CNC Turner / Sliding Head Programmer Setter Operator
Our client, a fast-growing, market-leading engineering company specialising in the manufacture of our own specialist components. As part of continued expansion, we're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer Setter Operator to join the team. The ideal match for this role will be an experienced CNC Turner with Fanuc programming experience or CNC Sliding Head Experience. Candidates must be open to be being trained on various machines to support manufacturing if required.

CNC Turner / Sliding Head Programmer Setter Operator the role:
You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machines to produce high-precision components. Working on a variety of machines and materials, your core responsibilities will include:
- Programming FANUC-based CNC machines
- Setting and operating various CNC machines
- Writing and maintenance of programs changeovers and setups
- Maintenance and reordering of tooling
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Working with a range of materials and machining techniques
- Maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
CNC Turner / Sliding Head Programmer Setter Operator
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience in CNC programming, setting and operating
- Strong knowledge of FANUC controls
- Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings
- Experience working with metals and various materials
- A methodical and quality-focused mindset
