Job description

We are looking to employ a skilled CNC Machining Centre Operator with programming capabilities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Setting up, programming and operation of CNC Machining Centre, using appropriate speed/feeds and relevant documents
• Accurate measurement using precision measuring equipment.
• Continually making attempts to improve productivity and work methods.
• Ensuring relevant documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Ensuring equipment is maintained in good working order and faults reported immediately.
• Ensuring quality and safety practices are adhered to, including keeping work areas tidy and free from obstacles.
• Able to integrate and work with team.

Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience of programming and running CNC Machining Centres is essential.
• Experience using Hurco controls is preferable.
• Must be able to understand and work with technical drawings.
• Understand when & how precision measurement equipment should be used.
• Be able to program accordingly & run the machine independently.
