Role Overview

We're looking to recruit a Compliance and Property Administrator to join a well established, busy residential sales team.

The core function of this role will be the management of the compliance processes for all new properties being prepared for market, and providing overall professional administrative support to the team.

We require someone who can demonstrate reliability, flexibility and enthusiasm, and this is a great opportunity to become part of an experienced and friendly team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaising with clients to onboard them as vendors with Savills
  • Accurately evaluate and collect CDD information for new clients, following the in-house AML and HMRC regulations
  • Liaising with client solicitors and other 3rd parties to request CDD/KYC information
  • Act as the point of escalation to our central AML team for PEP checks, Sanctioned countries, Estate sales etc.
  • Accurate and timely management of compliance information on Reapit system
  • Issuing electronic client documents
  • Initial AML checks using Thirdfort
  • Acting as the CDD/KYC point of contact for the five fee earners
  • Updating the fee earners on status of all new properties ahead of market launch (weekly meetings and daily updates where necessary)
  • Working with the fee earners and head of department for annual audit
  • Handling of administrative queries from clients, fee earners etc.

Key Skills

  • Proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a team, building relationships and trust in others and supporting the fee earners
  • High attention to detail, superb organisational skills and the ability to work on your own
  • Proactive attitude and ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure
  • Experience of managing complex workflow by prioritising work effectively
  • Proven experience of working in a fast paced environment, working to deadlines and dealing with several issues at the same time
  • Experience of AML/KYC is desirable, but not necessary
  • Experience of working in property sales is not necessary
