We have an exciting opportunity for a part time Administrator to join our Primary Care team at HMP Winchester, a category B Prison located just outside of the city centre. HMP Winchester has free onsite parking as well as excellent transport links - there is a bus stop opposite the site and the train station is a 10 minute walk.
This is a crucial role within the healthcare team, making a real difference to patients, and delivering outstanding care. HMP Winchester is a remand prison with capacity of around 650.
Hours
Tuesday and Wednesday, either 15 or 17 hours per week
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to £26000per annum FTE - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As an Administrator your responsibilities will vary. You will
- Contribute to the delivery of administration services, to the healthcare team on site
Work within a busy team, completing a variety of administrative tasks, working on IT systems, maintaining databases/waiting lists/call-up lists, customer service, answering and directing telephone calls, general office duties such as typing, ordering and stock control, scanning etc.

Qualifications required
- English and Maths at GCSE or equivalent
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Excellent communication skills
- A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
- Good IT skills and IT literacy
