Job Responsibility:

We are looking for a meticulous, organised and solution-driven Stock Controller to take ownership of the full company product inventory. Our aim is to be the most unique gifting service in the world. Ensuring our stock levels are accurate, our database is working seamlessly, and any discrepancies are accounted for, is vital to ensuring we have satisfied customers and clients who will continue to use Bespokely as their go-to gifting platform time and time again.

You'll be reporting directly to the Head of Finance and be responsible for all aspects of inventory management along with the processing of both payable and receivable invoices. Your primary focus will be ensuring accurate stock levels, efficient stock movements and structured processing of all invoices. This role is crucial in supporting our operational efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will have fantastic communication skills, paired with an unwavering determination for accurate data reporting and an intrinsic understanding of stock management systems. You will exemplify a can-do attitude, with an aptitude for working across the sourcing, finance, warehouse and production departments. Willing to take on a challenge, improve ways of working, and revolutionise the way the space is organised will be the key to success within this role.

We want you to:

  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records using our designated software system (Unleashed).
  • Oversee the Accounts Payable process; posting invoices for approval, ensuring correct invoice coding, responding to suppliers in good time and creating payments.
  • Ensure Accounts Receivables are chased and reconciled.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
  • Coordinate stock movements, including receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Implement and maintain efficient stock control procedures to minimise wastage and stock obsolescence.
  • Provide up to date information on stock issues and report back to the leadership team.
  • Promptly investigate and resolve any inventory discrepancies or potential issues.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and performance metrics as required.
  • Manage SKU database for all products and BOMS.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and G Suite (Sheets)/Excel.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Great communication skills with the adaptability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Desirable:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with large SKU numbers.
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles and best practices.
  • Experience in implementing and improving stock management procedures

Pay:

£28,000 - £30,000
