About the role

Are you looking for a role that makes a real difference to our Herefordshire community? Do you love working with people and providing excellent customer service?

As a driver you will be required to support across our sites in Herefordshire, delivering and collecting donated items for our essential retail team.

Good customer service will be an essential skill for this role as you will be in constant contact with the general public. You will provide and ensure our customer service is at its very best whilst supporting our valued team of retail staff and volunteers in order to maximise income and profit.

You will need to be confident in manual handling procedures as this role will involve regular loading and unloading of items.

What we are looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team, you will have a can do attitude and be a strong team player. The right candidate will have a full, clean, UK driving licence and will have had experience in driving a large van.

As there will be a lot of manual handling for this role we need someone who is aware of Healthy and Safety regulations, Manual Handling procedures and Trading Standards.

Ideally you will also have a good geographical knowledge of Herefordshire, as well as experience working alongside volunteers.
