This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in all aspects of project procurement & coordinating, from interpreting project plans to liaising with suppliers and managing like delivery schedules

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate plant, labour and material requirement with site managers to ensure timely and budget-compliant project delivery
  • Source and manage an effective supply chain / subcontractors
  • Troubleshoot and resolve site shortages/issues swiftly
  • Maintain quality standards and monitor supplier performance
  • Provide regular updates to the project team and generate handover lists

About you

  • Previous procurement/purchasing experience (ideally within the road surfacing/construction environment)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Strong operational stakeholder relationship development and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong in data analysis
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects effectively
  • Well organized with ability to plan and priorities workload while dealing with multiple tasks efficiently and with limited supervision.
  • Able to demonstrate & track cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Hands-on approach and actively support colleagues.
  • Positive can-do attitude.
  • Flexible approach to their scope of duties
  • Courteous and prompt telephone manner
