About this role

About this role We are seeking an administrative assistant to provide administrative, organizational, and logistical support for the Head of EMEA Marketing, Chief Marketing Officer, in partnership with the Chief of Staff and to be a key member of the EMEA Marketing Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as a high level of discretion and confidentiality.

EMEA Marketing is a commercial growth engine for the firm; delivering long term brand building strategies to investors across the region and driving the scaled distribution of BlackRock's product, solutions and portfolio consulting content to generate revenue.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the calendar and schedule.
  • Demonstrating thoughtful management of the CMO and senior leaders' time against priorities and ensuring preparation for meetings, including making recommendations regarding prioritization, delegation, and organization.
  • Coordinating internal and external travel with awareness of potential conflicts; processing the relevant expenses in line with company policy.
  • Exhibiting a strong attention to detail in coordination and communication.
  • Maintaining and leveraging a broad network of contacts; effectively communicate and partner with the assistant community and other internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinating townhall events and other large meetings for the wider team.
  • Providing adhoc support to members of the Leadership Team (travel bookings, submission of expense claims, meetings, room/desk bookings).

Skills and experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a personal assistant, executive assistant, or a similar role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and other relevant software and tools.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proactive, flexible, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
