Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised, experienced and proactive Personal Assistant to the Managing Director and capability to support the wider team.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is adept at managing a wide range of administrative and executive support tasks, handling various personal and professional incidentals.
Day-to-day of the role:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to the managing director, ensuring efficient management of their schedules, appointments, and communications.
Prepare and organise meetings, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and coordinating follow-up actions.
Manage email correspondence, ensuring prompt and accurate responses and flagging important messages.
Assist in the preparation of presentations, reports, and documents for both internal and external use.
Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and itinerary planning.
Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
Serve as a liaison between the directors and other stakeholders, facilitating smooth communication and timely information exchange.
Support the directors in project management activities, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are achieved.
Organise and maintain filing systems, ensuring information is easily accessible and up-to-date.
Handle incidentals at home, such as deliveries and maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Unflappable nature, can-do attitude.
Proven experience (ideally minimum 3 years) as a Personal Assistant or similar role, preferably supporting senior-level executives.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with digital scheduling and communication tools.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Live within 15 mile radius of Chipping Sodbury
Understanding of book keeping and ability to read managment accounts would be highly desirable.
