The team

The ITV Pensions team in Preston is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the ITV Pension Scheme for its members. The team uses their expertise to administer and monitor all aspects of the Scheme.

The role

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator to join the team on an 18 month FTC, This is within our busy Pensions Department. You will support the day-to-day delivery of many pension related activities. You'll be a key member of the team providing secretarial, administrative and organisational support to the Pensions Department.

Some of your key day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Attend to telephone enquiries triaging as necessary using a customer service acumen
  • Attend all incoming and outgoing post/emails
  • Use of document imaging and pensions workflow management system for all incoming work and outgoing administrator documentation
  • Liaise with on-site guests and facilitate building and maintenance visits
  • Liaise with landlords, managing agents, workplace services, and other 3rd party service providers
  • Ensure the provisions of stationary and other office supplies are replenished
  • Maintain staff holiday and sickness records
  • Facilitate pension clinics/roadshows for ITV regional sites, arrange rooms/venue via site HR departments and co-ordinate appointments
  • Facilitate hotel and travel arrangements as and when required
  • Facilitate internal and external meetings for the Pensions team, coordinating with attendees, arranging facilities and co-ordinating the provision of refreshments.
  • Support induction of new team members.
  • Provide administrative support for regular and ad hoc project work directed by Head of Pensions Systems & Project Management and Head of Pensions Admin and Project Implementation.

Skills you'll need (minimum criteria)

  • Previous administration experience in a corporate environment
  • Confident with MS Office software (Excel and Word) (and/or google suite)
  • You must have clear and concise written and verbal skills
  • Must be available to work a minimum of 4 days per week in the preston office to receive and send confidential mail

  • Organised and meticulous in keeping on top and understanding the administrative details
  • You will require a high level of telephone manner as this role involves some phone customer service
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple conflicting tasks and priorities
  • Ability to work proactively and within a fast paced, flexible environment with the capacity to deal with change in a positive manner
