In the UK we are currently over 300 strong and our plans are to grow to 400-500 by 2025 through the development our UK nuclear service offerings.
Due to our ongoing growth, we are looking to recruit a Project Cost Controller for our PCM (Project Component Manufacturing) business unit at Hinkley Point C.
The Cost Control Officer based in UK is responsible for producing deliverables related to Finance and Cost Control and facilitating daily interfaces between HPC (the Client) and the Framatome Project Team in France.
The Cost Control Officer based in UK will be reporting to the Finance & Cost Control Manager based in UK and will be interfacing daily with:
- Finance and Cost Control Manager and team members in the UK
- Framatome project team staff based in UK, including construction site colleagues
- Framatome project team staff based in France
- The Client Project Control Team
Based in Bridgwater (close to site), the Cost Control Officer's core missions are as follows:
Producing Cost Control deliverables and associated analysis
- Monthly Cost Report issued to HPC (full scope of the Framatome Contract)
- Monthly Statement Report issued to HPC: preparing the file, escalation calculation, invoicing of the target price elements, issuing the invoices, monitoring payments
- Reportings related to different scope of work
- Producing inputs for the Project Financial Review: variations and escalation
Coordinating transverse topics
- Collecting any request from HPC related to Cost Control, clarifies them where required and systematically transmits the requests to the corresponding Framatome Manager in France
- Leading Cost Control project related to customs, banking, list non exhaustive…
Profile
To be considered, the following qualifications are required:
Educational Basics:
- Bachelors degree is mandatory, Masters degree is desirable
Knowledge / Soft skills:
- Significant experience as a Cost Controller
- Excellent communication skills
- Results oriented, reliable, analytical capabilities, sense of synthesis
- Customer orientation
- English level: High-Elementary (Bright Test reference) at minimum
- Computer literate: standard Microsoft package, Ambition SAP
