OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a clean and efficient kitchen environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills and a passion for food service, contributing to a positive dining experience for all patrons.

Duties

• Assist in food preparation and ensure all food safety standards are met.
• Provide excellent guest services, addressing customer inquiries and needs promptly.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
• Handle food items with care, adhering to proper food handling procedures.
• Support the culinary team in various tasks as needed, demonstrating time management skills.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• A background in culinary arts or related fields is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are crucial for providing outstanding guest services.
