Job Title: Installation Collection Logistics Person

Reports to: Warehouse Manager / Internal Warehouse Operative / Team Leaders

We are looking for someone who wants to do well in the work place and achieve a high level of expertise in the field of all aspects of the installation and collection of whole house home staging furniture, art and accessories to and from our warehouse in TW1 1JN.

Someone who has previous removal experience is preferred. Full training will be given. The job also includes general warehouse work which is shared between all team members and will include but not limited to; tidying, cleaning vans, taking care of the correct storage of furniture items, wrapping, packing, stacking, lifting, moving, loading, checking tool bags, storing packing materials, ensuring the overall cleanliness and order of our 6000 sq ft warehouses.

Burbeck Interiors Ltd is a furniture company and you will work as part of a team to deliver and collect interior schemes we develop for our clients. There is interaction with our clients, our designers and the client's agents, so good manners, politeness and clean dress code is essential. (We provide uniform including trainers).

Although the job starts each day from our warehouse facility in TW1 at 8.00am, you will on most days be leaving from here with your team to either a job installation or collection which will entail going in a Burbeck van to an outside address with a Team Leader in charge. There will be days when you are the driver of the van to and from the site.

Our hours are 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. No weekend work. And you must live local to TW1 1JN.

Here are the basic eight requirements for applying for this role and you must be able to do them all:-

1. Drive a 3.5 ton Luton Van, with experience and a clean driving licence.

2. Have previous removal experience.

3. Be physically fit

4. Have education at GCSE level

5. Prompt, reliable, good time keeper

6. Looking for longevity and a career.

7. Well spoken and written English essential

8. Provide references

You will be taught how to:

· Help maintain the proper care of all stock ie., tidying, cleaning vans, taking care of the correct storage of furniture items, wrapping, packing, stacking, lifting, moving, loading, checking tool bags, storing packing materials, ensuring the overall cleanliness of warehouses

· Keep the van tidy and clean by helping load and unload all installations and collections and the associated packing materials

· Pack up installation jobs under supervision

· Install full house home staging under supervision

· Check tool boxes are clean and well stocked

· Unpack deliveries into warehouse under supervision

· Assist with cleaning and maintaining the warehouse as part of the daily routine

· Assist with the cleaning and maintaining the company vehicles on a weekly basis

· Health and Safety videos will be given and you must be compliant in all our protocols regarding heavy lifting and safety in the workplace

· Represent Burbeck Interiors to the best of your ability

· If must be aged 25 or older to drive our vans, we will train and check your level of competency

· You will be provided with uniform, including trainers

· Friendliness and good communication is another important quality, as there is often banter and good fun shared within the team. There is no bullying culture here and rudeness is not tolerated

· Good time keeping skills - being a reliable member that team mates can rely on is essential

· Being able to commute to Twickenham to our warehouse

· Organisational skills

· Being able to work quickly and efficiently, taking instructions is important
