We are seeking to appoint an Individual Needs Assistant to work as a member of our Inclusion Team at this happy and welcoming school, supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including children with Autistic Spectrum Condition, as well as others with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills and a calm approach to working with children and with other adults. We are looking for someone who is cheerful, lively, reliable, flexible and hard working.
About the role
The role requires the ability to recognise and implement key approaches to learning and communication, in line with the child's EHC plan and in liaison with the class teacher, Inclusion Manager and parents.

Experience of working with children with Special Needs would be an advantage. Experience of working with pupils' intimate care needs would also be desirable. Ongoing training in these areas will also be made available to the successful candidate.
