The successful candidate will: Support the preparation of delivery of a range of Forest School sessions with guidance and instruction from the Forest School Leader Foster a love for nature and outdoor learning Have a sense of fun and adventure Someone who is happy to be outdoors in all weathers, giving the children the opportunity to take calculated risks while exploring den building, tool work, fires etc
The successful candidate should ideally: Level 2/3 Forest School Qualification (or in the process of completing) A good general education. GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths, Science and English are desirable. Food hygiene certificate or willingness to complete Be fit enough to take on a physically demanding outdoor role Have a good knowledge of local plants and wildlife and continue to expand this knowledge through self-initiated professional development
