Job Responsibility:

We are looking for a Tax Investigations Administrator to join our team in the Central Belt (Glasgow or Edinburgh)

Following a period of continued growth, we are recruiting a Tax Administrator to work within our busy Corporate Tax Team. The role will be to support our wider team but with the individual based in our Glasgow/Edinburgh office reporting to a Senior Leader in Glasgow. The role offers an exciting opportunity to develop and establish a long-term career within our successful and growing practice.

Youwill be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Overseeing the Tax Enquiry Service inbox, dealing with claims, queries, quotes and renewals process
• Overseeing the enquiry register, obtaining progress updates and maintaining the register
• Reviewing and managing Investigation Work in progress (WIP), seeking budget updates and billing as appropriate
• Anti-money laundering annual reviews
• Preparing fees, fee emails and issuing to clients
• Preparing Non Audit Services Forms (where applicable) and proposals
• Filing emails/reports, arranging meetings, diary management and ad-hoc executive assistant support
• Processing timesheets
• Adding and managing targets, contacts and opportunities for all Specialist Taxes via Zoho
• Overseeing Corporate Tax Advisory tracker and assisting with Tax risk reviews, preparing all reviews with compliance and advisory information

About You:

• A good level of numerical and data analysis skills
• Experience within a similar role or within an Administration / Project Co-Ordination position
• A high degree of accuracy and communication skills
• A leader of your work and your professional learning
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to positively impact and influence others
