Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Senior Finance Business Partner London or Leeds Fixed Term Contract - 12 Month The Opportunity QBE Europe is currently recruiting for a 12-month fixed term contract to join a well-established and successful expense finance team in our London or Leeds office. In this role you will lead a team of 2 finance business partners who provide expert financial knowledge and guidance to QBE enabling functions on their expense management and the delivery of initiatives, including measurement of anticipated benefits. You will support the senior management team on all aspects of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and management accounting activity across the Enabling Divisions of QBE European Operations. QBE enabling functions include Claims, Operations, Human Resources, Finance and Actuarial and Risk. Your new role
  • Proactive Business Partnering by reaching out and exploring the activities of the Executive Management Board and their leadership teams.
  • Develop strong relationships and credibility with the respective divisional personnel, and act as a trusted adviser on matters relating to finance.
  • Lead the financial planning and analysis process for the divisions ensuring accurate tracking vs. budget/reforecast; investigation & explanation for variances arising; and communication of performance to key stakeholders.
  • Add commercial value through delivery of clear, targeted analytics to enable appropriate management action to be taken and commercial value delivered.
  • Build a strong culture of accountability, to ensure output and quality of the services meet stakeholder/customer expectations and are in line with agreed KPIs
  • Invest in development and give individuals in your team the opportunity to expand and diversify their knowledge and experience.
