Role Overview

As the Global Investment Fund Finance Business Partner, you'll support the Group Functions Finance Manager in delivering a world class finance partnering to teams accessing the Fund (across both Market Units and the Group Functions). The role also ensures robust financial controls are upheld through high quality planning, forecasting, and reporting across both financial and non-financial measures.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with both Oversight Specialists and Market Units to ensure accurate tracking of GIF funded projects and their financial spend.

  • Provide best in class MI to enable full transparency on GIF spend versus budget and forecasts, benefit tracking and ensure accurate and up to date BEF is always available. Feed into the monthly reporting process, providing insightful commentaries on financial performance.

  • Influence and lead finance and non-finance stakeholders and develop good working relationships with other departments.

  • Collation and summarise business cases for approval to the GIF governance committee.

  • Accurate tracking of project benefits associated with GIF funded projects.

  • Work closely with the wider Finance team to ensure issues that impact the wider team are communicated, with clear actions to resolve.

  • Assist in shaping and implementing required changes and enhancements to Finance processes and reporting.

  • Document, communicate and assist in the resolution of risks and issues as and when they arise.

What you'll bring:

  • +1/2 Years PQE (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)

  • Excellent relationship building, presentation and communication skills to establish good rapport with non-financial oriented individuals and other Bupa finance teams.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, managing conflicting tasks/requests and meet strict deadlines.

  • Demonstrated ability to design and develop business performance reporting on financial and non-financial data, providing clear and insightful information for decision making.

  • Experience in implementing strong financial controls and improving the efficiency of standard monthly/quarterly processes.

  • Solid excel skills
