Job Description :

Anglia Plastics is situated in Biggleswade just off the A1 in Bedfordshire. We are part of the Oadby Plastics Group, which have branches and additional sister companies dotted all over the UK to provide our customers with the best service possible.

About the role:

• Ensure orders and materials are accurately picked
• Ensure all fabrication orders are packed to a high standard
• Support the flow of work between the warehouse & transport
• Liaise with various departments to resolve issues
• Complete all paperwork and ensure goods are labelled correctly
• Carry out checks in line with the company quality control standards
• Operate counterbalance as set out by Health and Safety department if required
• Organise and manage all relevant paperwork
• Keep works areas clean and tidy at all times
• Assist and carry out additional duties to cover where necessary
• To carry out other reasonable tasks requested by the company
• Observe and maintain recognised, Health and Safety standards

What experience do you need to have:

• A Maths GCSE or equivalent is essential
• Must be able to show teamwork and individual working
• A Counterbalance Fork Lift Truck Licence is highly advantageous, but not essential
• To be motivated and enthusiastic to learn and develop new skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines with excellent attention to detail
• Demonstrate a positive working attitude towards the role, colleagues, customers and suppliers

Salary:

£12.00 per hour

Hours of Work:

Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 4.30pm
