Job Responsibility:

Responsibilities:

- Develop and lead a team of Warehouse, Logistics and Transport operatives.

- Manage the resource and activities across Warehouse and logistic department.

- Develop and implement efficient Warehouse and Logistical processes to optimise productivity.

- Ensure Inbound/Outbound goods are received and distributed internally and to customers.

- Manage warehouse inventory and coordinate with Buyer to ensure material availability.

- Own and manage Monthly and Annual Stock take.

- Ensure documentation and record of despatched products is entered in ERP system for invoicing and control.

- Ensure compliance with all necessary road transport legislation.

- Manage all waste on site.

- Management of Environment, Health & Safety within area of responsibility

- Develop an Ownership culture with a Continuous Improvement mindset within areas of responsibility

- Set and monitor KPI's for Warehouse and Logistic activities in line with company/group targets.

Skills and qualifications:

- Good understanding of Transport and Logistical Legislations

- Excellent organisational and leaderships skills

- Ability to lead and maintain high health & safety standards

- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

- Positive attitude to developing personally and professional

- Proficient in MS Office and material requirements planning (MRP) systems

- Solutions-orientated

- Geography and location knowledge

Salary: £27000 - £35000 DOE

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
