Location: LeicesterType: Full-Time In-Person

We are looking for a highly organised, customer-focused individual with exceptional communication skills.Defensor is a company with 29 years' experience providing commercial fire alarm and life safety systems to renowned clients and Blue Chip companies.

We're seeking a Service Desk Administrator to strengthen our team and play a pivotal role in linking our office, engineering team, and clients.

Your Role

As our Service Desk Administrator, you'll be central to our operations by ensuring seamless communication and organisational efficiency. Your key duties will include:

  • Delivering outstanding customer service with a professional and friendly approach.
  • Managing phone inquiries with excellent communication and a positive attitude.
  • Coordinating with clients and internal teams to schedule jobs for our engineers.
  • Raising jobs in our service management system and maintaining accurate records.
  • Replenishing engineer stock through effective supply chain management.
  • Using initiative to exceed client expectations and support team success.
  • Duties will include managing diaries such as the MD's and the meeting room as well as staff holidays.
  • Other duties will include taking minutes for meetings and anything that is deemed necessary to the business.

About You

We're looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, is driven to delight customers, and demonstrates:

  • Experience: Ideally 2 years in a similar role or a graduate willing to experience a work environment for the first time.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Windows systems.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written skills.

Pay: £26,750.00 per year to be reviewed after 6 months.

Additional pay:

  • Performance related bonus
  • Authorised overtime

  • Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00
