Job Responsibility:

Executive Assistant to CEO (4-Month Contract) - Hybrid, Bristol

Hft is one of the UK's leading charities supporting adults with learning disabilities. We're looking for a highly organised and experienced Executive Assistant to support our CEO, Deputy CEO as well as working with the other Executive Assistants supporting the Executive Team.

This is a hybrid contract role (1-2 days in office per week), starting immediately, and lasting 4 months with the potential for extension.

About the Role:

As Executive Assistant, you'll provide critical support to the CEO, Deputy CEO and the wider executive team to help them operate effectively. You'll be the go-to person for coordinating high-level meetings, managing complex diaries and inboxes, and ensuring seamless communication with internal and external stakeholders. The role will require you to have excellent communication skills and experience in an operational team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive diary and inbox management
  • Preparing agendas, minute-taking, and meeting coordination
  • Book business travel arrangements for senior management
  • Supporting the wider executive team with admin and logistics
  • Organising internal and external meetings and events
  • Acting as a confident point of contact for key stakeholders

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar Executive Assistant role
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently with discretion and professionalism
  • Experience in social care or the charity sector is a bonus, but not essential

About You:

  • Experience as an Executive Assistant providing senior level administration within a corporate environment
  • Experienced user of Word and Excel in Microsoft Office suite and other software solutions
  • High level of emotional intelligence
  • Ability to prioritise competing demands and effectively managing time to have the biggest impact
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task with great follow-up skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
