Part 2 Architectural Assistant.

This is an opportunity to work in a small team and gain a huge range of experience. You will be a valued and active member of the team, contributing to multiple aspects of the business.

Directline Strutures is a Design and Build company, specialising in taking projects from concept and planning, right through to handover in Education, Commercial and Industrial projects. Alongside this we have a sister company, Barker Murray Architecture, providing standard architectural services primarily to the residential sector. As we undertake the roles of both Architects and Main Contractors, you will get in depth experience of the construction process and observe the running of a small practice.

You will also be supported in your Architectural education, through completion of PEDR sheets and mentoring in professional practice.

Job Description:

Assisting Architect with the production of Revit models/drawings, visuals, and reports.

Attend sites and meetings with other members of the team.

Being an active member of the team and participating in a range of tasks.

Skills required:

Autodesk Revit (essential)

AutoCAD (desirable)

Photoshop (desirable)

InDesign (desirable)

You should be genuinely interested in the design and construction of buildings, and the construction process. This role would suit a practical candidate with a sciences background better than an arts background.

You should be highly motivated and able to work under your own initiative.

Very good written and spoken English is essential.

You should be efficient and methodical in your work.

Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
