Job Description :
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Receptionist and Appointment Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone. This role involves managing the front desk, handling administrative tasks, and efficiently coordinating appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
– Greet clients and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner.- Assist patients in person, over the phone, and via email with inquiries about services, scheduling, and other concerns.- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring optimal use of the hospital’s time and resources.- Maintain an organized and clean reception area.- Process and manage incoming and outgoing mail.- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth communication and operations.- Update and maintain patient’s records and databases with accuracy.- Assist with administrative tasks and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.- Proven experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or similar role.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).- Familiarity with office equipment- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.- Professional attitude and appearance.- Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
– Experience with scheduling software or appointment management systems.- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping practices.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Job Type: Temporary contractContract length: 6 months
Pay: Up to £200.00 per day
