    JOB OVERVIEW

    A fantastic opportunity to join Kent College’s Junior School as an Apprentice Early Years Teaching Assistant has arisen.

    The Apprentice Teaching Assistant will work predominantly in our Early Years department with children aged 3 to 5, and will support the class teacher with a variety of day to day tasks from planning and implementing activities, to general administration. They will work towards a Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification alongside the role.

    The successful candidate will have a keen interest in working within a school environment, with GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 desirable.

    This position is fixed term, linked to the length of the apprenticeship course, usually 18 months. There is potential for long term opportunities for the right candidate.

    THE POSITION

    The role is 32 hours per week, term-time only (35 weeks per year).
