The service that we provide to our clients covers mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, air condition and natural gas, our client base is domestic and predominantly commercial.

We are recruiting for Junior Electrician, to join our family run business. The right candidate will need to offer onsite customer support to their range of electrical equipment, with a primary focus on keeping the equipment in peak operating condition through scheduled maintenance, repairs and inspections.
Wages will be in line with national wage however, if the right candidate is successful wages will be negotiable.
For the right candidate this role offers growth, an improved skill set and stability with the support of a small and approachable team. Flexibility is required as the job is mostly based in and around London area.

The Role:
The role is varied and will include (but not limited to) the following:
- general assistance to the electrician including installations, inspections, diagnosing faults, testing, repair and maintenance of electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures
- assisting in general electrical work and preparation as directed
- ensure compliance to agreed codes, legislation, and procedures including health and safety
- liaising with plumbers, electricians, surveyors, architectural technologists and other construction professionals
- maintain accurate worksheets and records/documentation associated with your work and highlighting system defects and recommendations
- undertaking tasks to assisting the electrician generally
- complete all Building Services daily/weekly/monthly checklists and Plan Preventative Maintenance
- manage and complete all reactive calls within a realistic and reasonable time frame
- maintain a positive, productive working relationship with all other staff and clients
- ensure checking and inspection processes are completed as required and deviations are promptly actioned.
- immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers or which you think may affect health and safety.
The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate the following:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- An eye for detail
- Strong numeracy skills
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Excellent time management skills
- The ability to work well both as part of a team and on your own
- Average computer skills
- Experience working on ventilation system and basic plumbing skills (advantage)
- Electrically bias 18th Edition, additional training can be provided.
- Minimum 1 year experience
- Must hold a full UK driving license for minimum 2 years and a maximum of 3 points.
Qualifications:
- GCSE in Maths and English
- Level 3 Electrical Installations 18th Edition
The Hours:
Working hours are Monday-Friday from 8.30am – 5.30pm, with overtime opportunities. Please note that salary is subject to experience, annual salary between £20,000 – £27,000.
