Job Description :

Junior hairdressing Apprentice Working as an apprentice at Hairs & Graces you will be working as part of a well-established team with over 30 years experience. Hairs & Graces is a busy but friendly salon offering amazing training opportunities for the right individual.

As an apprentice hairdresser, you will workday closely with stylists on a daily basis, playing an essential role within the team to complete various duties in the salon. You will receive both training at college for one day a week as well as in house training from the salon team.

Your position as an apprentice will include a variety of duties including some of the following:

– Shampooing and conditioning clients

– Working on reception to manage client bookings, answer the telephone as well as taking payment for treatments

– Making refreshments for clients

– Ensuring stylists have a full set of towels and supplies ready for use

– Ensuring the salon is clean and tidy at all times and equipment is put away correctly

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: £6.40 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Holidays
• Weekend availability

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Work Location: In person
