Job Description :

PR Marriott Drilling Limited is the largest onshore drilling contractor based in the United Kingdom operating a modern fleet of 12 drilling rigs with a full range of ancillary equipment and plans to extend the fleet in the next few years.

We provide specialist drilling services to the water well, oil, gas, gas storage and geothermal/geotechnical sectors both in Europe and in selected countries internationally. With a substantial portfolio throughout the UK and ever increasing demands this opportunity arises out of growth and a continued company ethos of proactive HS&E.

In line with our ambitious growth plans, we are now looking for a new member for our Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental team within our domestic operations sector.

In order to be successful you would need at least NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent) and have relevant experience within the Construction Industry, and CDM 2015 regulations. Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry would be beneficial but not essential and any required development training will be provided for a suitable candidate. Familiarisation with Standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 would also be desirable.

You will need to be proactive and undertake relevant site specific visits to operational sites as and when required.

You will need to demonstrate a positive HSE mentality within previous relevant employment. You must also have confidence and experience of dealing with Site Management, clients and their representatives on HSE matters. You would be expected to:

· Undertake site inspections and deliver inspection reports.

· Develop and deliver HSE documentation; including Risk Assessments & Method Statements and assist in the preparation of Construction Phase Plans and other safety documentation.

· Carry out incident investigations and complete incident investigation reports.

· Identify site needs & challenges with the support of the company Group QHSE Manager.

The position will be based at our UK office near Chesterfield. You will be required to travel within the UK to undertake visits to any of our operational sites and external client meetings when required. A full clean driving licence is therefore essential.

The successful candidate will be offered a comprehensive package that is commensurate with the role. This will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
