Job Responsibility:

Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students from the age of 16+ and a strong commitment to education and supportive learning environment. This role involves providing tailored educational support to students, helping them achieve their academic goals while enhancing their confidence and skills.

Duties

• Develop and implement individualised lesson plans based on each student's unique learning needs.
• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in functional skills, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to track progress and address any concerns.
• Utilise appropriate teaching strategies to engage students, including those with special educational needs.
• Assess student performance regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly to maximise learning outcomes.
• Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student motivation and enthusiasm for learning.

Experience

• Previous experience in tutoring or teaching, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with special education practices is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with students and parents.
• A genuine passion for educating learners and helping them succeed academically.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles and needs.
• Assessors and IQA desirable but not essential.
