Salary: Competitive starting salary range from £44,965 up to £51,314 pro rata (dependent upon experience) with the potential to progress. A discretionary range for candidates with exceptional experience can be discussed/considered.

The Role As Senior Teaching Fellow in Advanced Practice based within the School of Health & Care, you will undertake teaching and Integrated Care pathway co-ordination while supporting the development and delivery of postgraduate, and professional programs and other core activities ensuring students have an effective learning experience. Senior Teaching Fellows lead on aspects of the student learning experience including the leadership of staff teams.
Duties include:- Lead the curation, adaptation, design and development of the Long-term Conditions module and course teaching materials at HE levels 6 and 7 in relevant academic subject areas delivering a variety of types of student learning sessions and supporting students as appropriate through informal and formal communication throughout teaching semesters. Leading teams of teaching staff.
Qualifications Required
- Master's degree in an appropriate subject OR a good Honours Degree and an appropriate professional qualification and/or membership
- A teaching qualification or extensive experience of delivering professional and/or university education
- A current knowledge of, and interest in, Long-term Conditions.
- You MUST be a registered UK health professional and working at an Advanced Level
Our Successful Candidate You will have demonstrable experience of successful teaching at higher education levels 6-7 with the development of best practice in teaching, learning and assessment consistent with our reputation. An experienced team leader with good level of digital fluency, you will have experience using creating teaching materials for face to face and online teaching using a VLE. Enthusiastic and self-motivated, you will have experience in the development and enhancement of an ‘active learning' pedagogy as appropriate to the academic subject area.
