Job Description:

You will be working 38 Hours per week [7.6 Hours per day].

As an I.T. and Data Processor at Best-One Premier Ltd, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by managing and processing critical information.

Your primary duties will involve:

  • Update offers, pricing, and news bulletins on promotions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Input all receipts and daily paperwork from suppliers and customers into our systems, maintaining an organised and efficient database.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline data processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff as needed.

Key Duties:

  • Maintain Point-of-Sale (POS) Systems, ensure the functionality and reliability of POS systems, including hardware and software components, to facilitate smooth and efficient transactions.
  • Troubleshoot Technical Issues, provide timely technical support to store staff, diagnose and resolve hardware or software problems, and minimise downtime to ensure uninterrupted operations. This includes implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect the store's IT infrastructure and sensitive data, including antivirus software, firewalls, and encryption protocols. As well as having backup procedures in place to safeguard critical data and develop plans for data recovery in case of system failures or data loss incidents.
  • Oversee inventory-related data entry tasks, including updating records, tracking stock levels, and generating reports on product sales and trends using appropriate software systems.
  • Monitor and maintain the store's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and access points, to ensure reliable connectivity for POS systems and other devices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems, procedures, and configurations, as well as generating reports on key performance indicators and metrics related to IT and data processing activities to support decision-making and compliance efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • Masters degree/further education in I.T or related fields preffered.
  • Previous experience in data processing or a similar role including I.T.
  • Familiarity and a keen interest in various I.T and data processing software.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in database management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
