The ideal candidate will need to be highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience of working in a school setting is preferable but more importantly you will have exceptional admin, IT and organisational skills, and a flexible “can do” approach. • To communicate effectively on behalf of the SLT with people in person, on the telephone and using email to: respond to queries, provide information and services, take and record messages and to diarise/schedule meetings.
• To organise the SLT diary management
• Support the SLT with organisation and set-up for meetings and school events - refreshments, agendas, papers, resources, advertising
• To support the SLT with data entry for Quality Assurance activities across school (walkabout, book looks etc)
• To assist the SLT with staff INSET and induction days

Working for us Walthamstow Academy opened its impressive new building in 2006 and since then we have achieved excellent results both at GCSE and at A Level. In 2023, Walthamstow Academy students achieved a Progress 8 score of 0.49. At A-Level, our students achieve excellently with many of them progressing to Russell Group institutions.
