VISUAL MERCHANDISING LEADER - RIMMEL, WIMBLEDON, COTY UKI RESPONSIBILITIES The position of Visual Merchandising Leader - Rimmel is a key leadership role within the Visual Merchandising team looking after a pivotal brand in the business portfolio. The position oversees all permanent and semi-perm activity including updates (A&CP), new stand development (CAPEX) as well as promotional representation of the brand instore across many retailers on the Highstreet and in our Grocery accounts. The fundamental purpose of the role is to ensure Rimmel is presented instore in the most inspirational yet clearly navigable way that makes our brands the most desirable to our target consumer vs our competition. Your main focus: Leading the delivery of all permanent and semi-perm visual merchandising execution for Rimmel end to end giving direction/approval to the designs overall visual look and feel and functionality, acting as a brand guardian. Lead on total Rimmel merchandising equity/artwork across retailers. Highstreet decisions to be used as base for Grocery/Pharmacy execution. Develop a strong knowledge of the market to share with global team counterparts and influence their brand design to suit the UK market. Validate Global Merchandising guidelines for in-store execution. Manage projects within the agreed deadlines and budget constraints taking lead to communicate timelines and budget tracking to key stakeholders and implementing discipline to adhere to them for on time execution of plans. Drive store updates (ranging) strategy for Rimmel, delivering best in class planograms in line with the strategy and the expectations of the trade + internal stakeholders. Overseeing the integration of new products into the fixture during regular range updates, working within our brand guidelines to ensure optimum presentation and impact in store and delivering on time and in full to all retailers. Responsible for planning and managing the total A&CP VM CB budget for Rimmel. Personally, owns the forecast and planning of the Highstreet portion of the budget, tracking monthly spend versus budget and finding ways to spend smartly. Create all Purchase orders for CAPEX, Product launches/Stand updates and Ad-hoc activity. Responsible for Managing Aftermarket / maintenance of stands in-store. Your direct team consists of an additional Project Manager, and you will work closely together and with several departments such as Brand, Trade Marketing and Sales. As an experienced Visual Merchandising Lead, you are capable of working under pressure in a changing environment and to manage unexpected changes and you get energy from working in a fast-paced, diverse and international environment. Other than that, you: Have project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects with a strong level of complexity and a wide range of partners. Have experience in In-store strategy/Merchandising or Trade Marketing or Marketing with a strong passion for In-store and Beauty Have strong attention to detail - creative eye / appreciation of aesthetics . Have knowledge of shoppers, competitors and retailers in order to design the brand merchandising and enable its implementation in the market. Have strong power point skills to create outstanding presentations at short notice. Have analytical thinking and numerical skills. Are experienced with Budget Management. Are able to read Technical/ Manufacturing drawings. Have technical knowledge about materials. Have a creative mindset with a strong knowledge in the beauty industry and willingness to constantly be aware of the latest trends & news. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite package beneficial but not essential.
