Salary - Range from £38K to £57K + annual bonus & benefits. Work Level 2 Location - Edinburgh or Newcastle. Permanent Office Attendance - Our roles are hybrid; however, you should be able to attend your contractual office 2 days per week for this position. We're looking for Financial Promotions Managers to join our Insurance and Money Services team. We're looking for you to deliver clear, accurate and succinct guidance on matters of financial promotions across all Tesco Bank customer and colleague communications to ensure we deliver great customer outcomes. You'll have the opportunity to support the business in attracting and retaining more customers, with a clear strategic focus on growing our direct channels. You'll be working alongside the business as part of the broader Conduct & Controls team and have the opportunity to work across a variety of different products and engage with a wide range of stakeholders. What you'll be doing
  • Reviewing and assessing a wide range of communications and promotional materials to ensure where required, these meet the rules and requirements associated with financial promotions.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to provide advice and guidance on technical matters and help support the timely delivery of planned activities.
  • Providing training and support to business colleagues to help broaden understanding and awareness of the requirements relating to Financial Promotions.
  • Resolving queries from colleagues by providing information on complex processes and the related policies.
  • Identifying, instances of non-compliance with policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Supporting the work of the broader Conduct & Controls team.
We need you to have.
  • Working knowledge of Financial Promotions and associated regulatory rules and guidance, including the Consumer Duty.
  • Able to work without supervision and provide technical guidance when required on achieving full compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations.
  • Experience of providing technical guidance when required on interpreting and applying knowledge of laws, regulations and policies in area of expertise.
  • Robust Stakeholder management and understanding of Stakeholder priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, having the ability to engage confidently with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Attention to detail for managing complexity. You'll make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
  • Great people management skills, develop people to meet both their career goals and the organisation's goals.

  • Ability to provide technical guidance, when required, on analysing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making and make suitable recommendations.
  • Ability to make good quality and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
  • Ability to adapt approach to match the shifting demands of different situations. Identify which situations call for flexibility and respond; accordingly,
  • Use clear and effective verbal communications skills without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on expressing ideas, requesting actions and formulating plans or policies.
  • Good planning, organising, prioritising and management skills to efficiently meet business objectives.
