Job Description Job Purpose To perform key activities within the Stores department including assisting the Stores Supervisor with receiving goods, packing, shipping, ensuring shop orders are updated and closed correctly, picking and issuing of materials and receiving and inspecting as required. Key Responsibilities
  • Picking and distributing product kits throughout production areas
  • Assist with receiving, packing and despatching goods at busy times and to cover for absence
  • Ensure paperwork is kept in line with Corporate records retention requirements, and other documents are shredded and disposed of responsibly
  • Ensure the MRP system is kept up to date and appropriate improvements are notified through the appropriate routes.
  • Assist with incoming QC tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned by the line manager.
  • Identify any environmental, health and safety issues and report to Site Lead/QEHS Manager.
  • Recognise any improvements that can be made across the organisation and communicate these via the senior management team.
Skills & Experience
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Word, Excel etc.
  • All round knowledge of use of MRP systems (IFS) for production/stores functions
  • Highly organized with good communications skills
  • Strong attention to detail.
