The Role:
London Study Centre - Student Administration Manager
The University:
The University of Hull was founded in 1927 and opened for business with 39 students and 14 ‘one-person' departments. The University now has more than 16,000 students and around 2,500 employees, including more than 1,000 academic staff. The University of Hull is on a journey, one that is led by our commitment to delivering excellent research and a fantastic experience; the importance of the University Estate and the services we offer has therefore never been higher.
London Study Centre:
Opening in 2024, the University of Hull London Study Centre is a new way to access the University's career-focused postgraduate courses, expert academics, leading research programmes, and personal study environments, in the heart of the UK's capital.
Duties:
The Student Administration Manager role is an exciting one, which will be responsible for managing the student journey of our London Study Centre students, from the onboarding process, through enrolment and for the entirety of their student life as a London Study Centre student. The role incorporates academic timetable activity and student engagement monitoring, including ensuring compliance with UKVI sponsor guidance and policies, in relation to sponsored international students.
There will be a collaboration with stakeholders across the University, both in Hull and London, and with the University's external partners.
There will be a requirement to work across both our London and Hull campus, and therefore a requirement to travel. It will be necessary to be on location at the London campus during key events, such as enrolment periods (which will take place 3 times a year), and regularly during the academic year. There is not a specific requirement for the successful candidate to live in the Hull or London areas.
